We offer our services in the following areas and deliver quality services within agreed timelines:
Design and development of the concept and project/programme
Review and assessment of the vector-borne disease control programmes
National vector control needs assessments (VCNA)
Development of national integrated vector management (IVM) plans
Implementation assessment of core interventions (ITNs, IRS, LSM, space spray)
Development of guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Development of training materials
Capacity building, particularly in the following areas:
o Entomological surveillance across diseases
o Integrated vector management
o Insecticide resistance monitoring
o Indoor residual spraying
o Public health pesticide management in the practice of vector control.
Services delivered
After retiring from the WHO, Geneva, in July 2023, Dr Yadav provided consultancy services to:
the WHO Country Office in Colombo for the development of the national dengue strategic plan for Sri Lanka (Aug 2024);
the WHO Country Office in Doha, Qatar, for facilitating an insecticide resistance monitoring training (Oct 2024);
the MoPH Qatar for undertaking vector control needs assessment and development of a national plan for Integrated Vector Management (Sept 2024), and
FAO/Rome on drafting an SOP for development of guidance on pesticide management (2025).
As an international consultant, Dr Yadav:
Contributed to the pre-certification review of the leishmaniasis elimination programme in Bangladesh (Oct 2023)
Led the WHO/SEARO mission to review the vector-borne disease control (VBDC) programme of Sri Lanka (May 2024), and
Led review of the VBDC programme in Bhutan (June 2025)
Participated in a WHO mission on malaria elimination pre-certification (June 2026).
Dr Yadav served as the WHO Temporary Adviser in the following meetings:
Chaired the WHO HQ Expert Group on evidence review of aircraft disinsection (Dec 2024)
Co-chaired the WHO HQ/NTD Leishmaniasis Guideline Development Group (2024–2025).
SEARO Regional Technical Advisory Group meeting on Malaria & Kala-azar (Colombo, February 2025)
SEARO Regional Technical Advisory Group meeting on dengue and other arboviral diseases (Sept 2025); and
FAO/WHO Joint Meeting on Pesticide Management, WHO Geneva (October 2025).
